Eating at College 

  • Places to eat/ get food around campus
    • Forum and dining hall
    • Windward
      • It being 24/7 allows you to get food anytime 
      • Has sandwiches, veggies and fruit, snacks, frozen meals, drinks, and more 
    • ACHS
      • You can get a smoothie, sandwich or salads, and snacks 
    • Vending machines around campus
      • You can get snacks and drinks 
  • Utilize dining hall
    • Grabbing food for on the go – Banana, desserts, fruits, etc
      • You can grab sugar, salt, cream cheese, butter, condiments and tea bags keeping them in your bag
      • Grabbing fruits like bananas, oranges, apples, and pears are great to stash in your bag for latter 
    • Food on the go
      • Take food on the go with to-go boxes for hectic schedules. Ask your professor if you can eat during class
      • Keeping zip lock baggies to grab food for later 
      • Using cups with lids can also carry food. Other fruit and veggies can be put into drinking cups with a lid to take on the go
  • Maximizing meal swipes
    • You can use at least 2 meal swipes per meal hour 
    • Using zip locks to carry food
      • The to-go boxes are great but not easy to carry from place to place. Grabbing a sandwich and putting it into a zip lock makes it easy to carry 
    • Do homework/ work at the dining hall 
  • Working at the dining hall
    • You get a free meal during you work hours 
    • You also get to pick your shifts to work around you schedule 
  • Different appliances to cook in your dorm
    • Mini waffle maker, rice cooker, crock pot, keurig, etc 
  • Snacks to keep in your room and bag
